Panagiotis Mougkogiannis

Panagiotis is a doctoral candidate at the University of Manchester. He is supervised by Dr Krishna Persaud with Dr Michael Turner as co-supervisor. His current research interests include low voltage organic field effect transistors, gas sensors for the detection of volatile organic chemicals and inkjet printing of functional materials.

He has a BSc degree in Chemistry and a MSc in advanced technology materials from the University of Patras in Greece. His research interests range from the calcification and dissolution of calcium phosphates in biological conditions and the X-ray absorption spectroscopy (EXAFS and XANES) study of calcium carbonate polymorphs to the electrochemical anodization of Ti-mesh.
